As we were leaving our hotel in Illinois this morning we met a group of of 4 motorcycle riders from Chicago. They provided our first ‘tale from the trail’. There were finishing up a 10 day trip through Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee and other southern states. As they travelled they collected a gallery of ‘Rock Star Photos’ (everyone looking all different directions but never at the camera). They told people they were a retired rock band called the wild hogs. They were riding Harley Davidson, Triumph, Indian, and KTM motorcycles. What a fun group! Thanks for the memory, Wild Hogs. Kerrie loved being back in the Indianapolis area again. She fell in love with Ben’s Soft Pretzels in 2021 and we stopped to have another one today. She first had their pretzels at a Supercross race at Lucy Oil stadium in Indianapolis. We traveled to all the Supercross races in 2021 and all but the first six races of the 2022 season. Indianapolis was her favorite race stop.
